Northville’s Response to the Anne Frank Challenge

Yesterday, we reported that the review committee at Northville Public Schools had elected to keep Anne Frank’s The Diary of a Young Girl in middle school classrooms, an important victory for the right to read. What follows is the letter Robert D.G. Behnke, Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Services, sent to community members regarding the decision:
