NYC: Don’t Miss Paul Pope’s CBLDF Party This Saturday!

Saturday night, March 29, Paul Pope will unveil his new mural at Brooklyn’s The Diamond!  Pope will be on hand spinning a live DJ set, and will be joined on the steel wheels by Ted McGrath.  There’ll be a raffle to benefit Comic Book Legal Defense Fund too, featuring prizes from Forbidden Planet, Desert Island, and CBLDF, as well as a grand prize of an original Paul Pope Drawing!

The party starts at 8:00 p.m., and a raffle, featuring prizes of signed graphic novels, gift certificates from NYC’s top comic book stores, and a grand prize of an original Paul Pope drawing will be held at 10:00 p.m.

The mural, which features original artwork by Pope and was painted by Adam Kidder, adorns an interior wall at The Diamond. Pope says, “The Diamond is a destination in Greenpoint, an acclaimed local watering hole that champions craft beers, and I’m delighted they share my support of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund’s work to protect the community of comics creators of which I’m proud to be a part.”

The Diamond is located at 43 Franklin Street in Greenpoint (Brooklyn, NY 11222). For more info, please visit http://thediamondbrooklyn.com.
