For the past week, it seems like everyone with a television has been enjoying the “Every Simpsons Ever” marathon. It’s a good reminder of just how much of an institution the show has become, and a great time to bid on one of the most amazing pieces of Simpsons memorabilia we have yet seen.
Premiering at Comic Con International 2014, and limited to 200 numbered copies in an exclusive slipcase, The Simpsons Family History is a gorgeous art book detailing 25 years of one of the most beloved shows in television history. Published by CBLDF Corporate Member ABRAMS ComicArts, a very special edition of this was donated to us; an edition unlike any other available.
Signed and sketched on the slipcase, and on the interior, by Simpsons creator and legendary cartoonist Matt Groening, this edition is numbered 1 out of 200, making it the first official copy of this awesome book to exist in the universe. Incredibly rare, and incredibly unique, this item is definitely one of the coolest auctions we’ve had. We want to thank our friends at ABRAMS for making this happen!
