This weekend, join CBLDF for Comic Arts Brooklyn, a free annual celebration of comics and cartoon art presented by Desert Island!
On Saturday, November 7, join CBLDF from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Mt. Carmel Gymnasium (12 Havemeyer Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211) for exhibits and signings with some of the biggest names in independent comics. CBLDF Executive Director Charles Brownstein will be on hand to talk about our latest cases and with signed premiums and more in support of CBLDF’s work defending the right to read comics!
The exhibits are Saturday only, but comics fans can continue their celebration on Sunday at the Wythe Hotel (80 Wythe Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11211), where comics creators will participate in a series of informative panels and presentations from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
