FTRF Offers Grants for Banned Books Week Programming

FreedomThe Freedom to Read Foundation is offering grants for libraries and organizations that what to host an event or display for Banned Books Week. Deadline for application is May 12, 2017.

Grants of $1,000 or $2,500 are available from the Judith Krug Fund. Staff at libraries, schools, universities, and community organizations are encouraged to apply. To be eligible, organizations must not have been a recipient of an FTRF grant within the past five years. Grantees also receive an ALA 2017 Banned Books Week promo kit, as well as promotion and recognition through FTRF.
