Words matter, especially in law. Ownership, royalties, video, merchandise – these are just a few of the important issues that can be determined by the provisions of a contract, yet far too often, the precise language can have consequences that aren’t immediately clear. In this online event, attorneys and comics professionals will share their insight on how to draft a contract that will stand the test of time.
We’ll be addressing these issues and more at our next membership meeting, where we’ll be hosting the panel Contract Rights and Wrongs. Our panel will be held on Zoom Thursday, May 27, 10–11 am (PDT).
We’ll end the meeting with an open Q&A session. It will be the perfect opportunity to have your contract questions answered.
