CBLDF Hosts Live Art Stage at
Etnies, MishkaNYC & SEEN’s Born on the Fourth of July Party!

Its almost time!

This Sunday July 4th, CBLDF supporters party in style with our friends at Etnies, Mishka and  seenallover.com to launch the new SEEN website!  Join the fun at this FREE event, boasting a CBLDF Live Art Stage, live music and more!  The fun happens at Water Taxi Beach in Long Island City, from 1pm-1am.

The CBLDF hosts the Live Art Stages from 4-10 pm, with headliners Tara McPherson, Molly Crabapple, Brian Ewing, Khary Randolf, Aya Kakeda, JK5 and Nikki Cook! We’ll also be showing off some of the fantastic custom Etnies sneakers boasting original art by David Mack, Aya Kakeda, Kevin Colden, and more.  The sneakers will also be on display and auctioned at Comic-Con International later this month.

Musical Guests include Suckers, Beach Fossils, The Death Set and Ninjasonik with a very-special-super-secret-end-of-the-night performance!

This event is open to the public, and is all ages. Minors will be tagged and there is a strict no tolerance policy on outside food, drink or any illegal activities or behaviors.

Come feel the sand between your toes, and watch the fireworks over the Manhattan skyline from the best 4th of July event in the city!

Travel to Borden and Second Street. At Borden Avenue and Second Street you will see the sign for the New York Water Taxi. We are not in all map and navigation systems. You can find us on Google Maps, by searching for, Water Taxi Beach 54-34 2nd Street, LIC NY 11101.

By Subway

Take the 7 train to Vernon Blvd/Jackson Avenue or the E train to 23rd Street/Ely Avenue. Then, take Vernon Boulevard. directly to Borden Avenue. Next walk passed the Water Front Crab House and finally turn RIGHT into our driveway.

Long Island Railroad

Take the Long Island Railroad to the Long Island City/Hunters Point Stop. Exit the platform on Borden Avenue. Walk on Borden Avenue West towards the Manhattan Skyline. Pass the Water Front Crab House on your right and enter our parking lot located directly in front of you.
