Heroes Convention 2000 Preview

Heroes Con has always been one of the Fund's strongest supporters, and this year it will be stronger still with almost the entire Gorilla Comics crew bringing in fans from across the east coast. Joining Gorilla are dozens of popular artists like Michael Turner and Pop Mhan, not to mention comics icon Julius Schwartz, who will be celebrating his 85th birthday at a special Heroes Con bash.

As if that wasn't enough, the CBLDF's newly anointed 2000 Defender of Liberty George Pérez will be celebrating the debut of his new Gorilla title Crimson Plague at Heroes Con. How does Pérez celebrate? By raising money for charity, of course! He'll be sketching and signing all weekend to benefit the CBLDF and the Burned Children's Fund. If you've never seen Pérez at a convention, grab your sketchbook and prepare to see a real hero in action!
