February 22, 2002MEGA-O-MANIA!Floridas streets were soaked with rain when MegaCon opened on Friday, February 22, but that didnt stop hundreds of enthusiastic fans from coming through the show over the course of the weekend. Outstanding intern and volunteer Jason Bache ran the Fund's table with Director Charles Brownstein, meeting hundreds of CBLDF supporters over the shows three days. MegaCon generously donated prime table space where the Fund raised nearly $2,500.
Several creators who support the Fund were in attendance at the show,
including Defenders of Liberty George Perez and Brian Pulido
as well as graphic novelist Eddie Campbell, who generously donated
signed copies of his
