Comic-Con International is probably America's longest-running comic convention. It is certainly the biggest. With a fan attendance ranging anywhere from 40,000 - 60,000, it's no wonder that just about every comics professional and hundreds of retailers make an annual pilgrimage to San Diego. And with that many comics-lovers in one place, it's no surprise that you'll find the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund there as well.

Here we try to give you an idea of what you can expect at Comic-Con International and the retailer expo that precedes it, CONNECTIONS 98. The Fund has a lot going on in San Diego, and we hope you'll take part in each one of our special events.

The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund was founded in 1986 as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of First Amendment rights for members of the comics community. Donations and inquiries should be directed to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.
