Raising a Reader: How Comics & Graphic Novels Can Help Your Kids Love to Read! is an important part of the CBLDF’s ongoing educational program and is intended as a resource for parents, educators, and librarians. Written by education specialist Meryl Jaffe, it features an introduction by Newbery Medal winner Jennifer L. Holm and art by Raina Telgemeier and Matthew Holm. If you’re looking for a way to encourage kids to read, this amazing publication offers tips and ideas about how comics can be used to make kids into lifelong readers!
