About The Presenters
Ted Adams has spent 30 years working for direct market publishers. He started his career working for Eclipse Comics in 1990 and also worked at Dark Horse, WildStorm, and Todd McFarlane Productions before founding IDW in 1999. While at IDW, he oversaw all divisions of IDW Media Holdings, including IDW Publishing, Top Shelf, IDW Entertainment, and IDW Games. While in that position, he helped raise the company’s market capitalization from $30 million to $300 million. He left IDW in 2018 to start Clover Press, a boutique publishing company, with fellow IDW founder, Robbie Robbins. He is also the treasurer for CBLDF.
Adams has written a number of graphic novels, including adaptations of Richard Matheson’s The Shrinking Man with Mark Torres and H.G. Wells’ The Island of Dr. Moreau with Gabriel Rodriguez and co-created Diablo House with artist SantiPerez. He is also an Executive Producer on a number of projects including the TV shows, Wynonna Earp, Dirk Gently, V-Wars, October Faction, and Locke & Key.
Adams has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Southern Oregon University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
David Loseke serves as a Managing Director for First Republic Bank focusing on clients in the Southern California region since 2011. His focus is on clients in the nonprofit sector assisting with lending, banking, and investing solutions for his clients. Prior to First Republic Bank, he worked with Bank of America in the business banking area providing credit and treasury solutions to mid-size companies.
David graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and the Anderson School of Management at UCLA for his Master’s in Business Administration. He lives in Solana Beach with his wife and two teenage daughters.
