This Is What Democracy Looks Like is coming to comic book stores for Constitution Day! Retailers – order your copies of this dynamic resource by August 19 using order code JUL191805. Constitution Day is September 17, this book will arrive in stores on September 11.

This Is What Democracy Looks Like maps out how the US government was designed to foster democracy and encourages readers to become more informed and engaged citizens. Produced by the Eisner award-winning Center for Cartoon Studies, this comic is part of a major campaign promoting civics that will drive readers to comic stores! This comic is the centerpiece of a national campaign for Constitution Day organized by The Center for Cartoon Studies with CBLDF and other major education and rights organizations. It is part of a marketing effort to drive audiences into comic book stores to get their copies of this important comic book. Copies are available in bundles of 40.

CBLDF and CCS are supporting this project with an online campaign driving customers to pick up copies in-store to celebrate with their community. Retailers who order this book can also receive, free of charge, a press release template from CBLDF to help them announce to their local community that they’ll be offering this important project. We will be announcing other Constitution Day activities at the beginning of September.
