On Friday, March 29, from 2:00-3:00pm PDT in Room 213CD, join interim director Jeff Trexler and CBLDF board member Amy Chu as they discuss the latest developments in the fight to counter the nationwide surge in challenges to the comic arts, including new strategies for responding to attempts to restrict access to graphic novels and manga in schools, libraries, and stores; the CBLDF’s courtroom victories against attempts to mandate a graphic novel comics code and even to criminalize a wide range of books; and, of course, how everyone can help protect comics in their community!
