Since 1986, the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund has protected the comics medium by fighting on behalf of retailers, cartoonists and readers in court when their rights have been threatened.  The CBLDF Case Files section presents summaries and original court documents from the CBLDF’s cases.  The Noteworthy Cases section presents analysis and original court documents from cases that have affected the law with regard to comics.  Please check back on this section periodically, as we are adding more documents and analysis.  If you would like to aid us in that process, or if you are a scholar who would like to contribute a study on casework relevant to the CBLDF’s work for this section of our website, please email Betsy.Gomez@cbldf.org
