For the second year, CBLDF is proud to be participating in Free Comic Book Day with a special, all-ages edition of Defend Comics, our anthology of tales about free speech, censorship, and the right to read!

This year’s comic features new stories from Gene Yang and Sonny Liew (The Shadow Hero, American Born Chinese, Wonderland), Larry Marder (Beanworld), Andi Watson (Skeleton Key, Princess Decomposia and Count Spatula), George O’Connor (The Olympians), Jorge Aguirre and Rafael Rosado (Giants Beware!), and a new Kevin Keller story from the Archie universe, by Dan Parent! These are some of the best talents working in young adult and all-ages comics today, and we are extremely excited to have them on board!
Defend Comics has a cover by Dean Trippe (Butterfly, Power Lunch) and will be available in participating comic shops on Free Comic Book Day!
