The 2016 Harvey Award winners will be announced this Saturday, September 3 at Baltimore Comic Con! Among the nominees are critically acclaimed books including Saga, Lumberjanes, Paper Girls, Southern Bastards, and Two Brothers. In addition, legendary creators Walter Simonson and Stan Sakai have titles up for the award: Ragnarök and Usagi Yojimbo, respectively. Walt Simonson’s Norse epic Ragnarök is nominated for Best Letterer (John Workman) and Best Colorist (Laura Martin)! This beautiful hardcover collects volume one of Simonson’s first creator-owned series in 20 years and comes signed by the renowned author and artist himself.
Lumberjanes is nominated for Best Letterer (Aubrey Aiese) and Best Original Graphic Publication for Younger Readers.
